About DevOps Presentation Mascot Kit

You know those gopher mascots everyone uses in Go conference talks? They’re from the Free Gophers Pack by Maria Letta (CC0-licensed). The raw files are great, but getting them into a slide deck at the right size with a transparent background is a whole separate project. This kit does that work for you.

Every character comes as a transparent PNG at three sizes — 800px for inline slides, 1600px for full-slide, 3200px for print and retina — plus editable SVGs if you want to change colors or combine characters. There are pre-composed DevOps scene slides too: a CI/CD pipeline illustration, monitoring dashboard scene, deployment celebration, and a team retro. These combine multiple gophers with background elements so they look like one cohesive illustration, not a collage. Slide templates in PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Keynote formats let you drag and drop characters straight into your existing deck.

Are these really only useful for Go developers?
The characters are gophers, so they fit best in backend, infrastructure, and DevOps contexts. But the scene slides — CI/CD pipeline, monitoring dashboard, deployment celebration, team retro — work for any platform engineering or SRE talk.
What's already assembled that I don't have to build?
The raw Free Gophers Pack (by Maria Letta, CC0) gives you individual characters at one size. We pre-composed DevOps scene slides, sized everything to 800/1600/3200px, added slide templates in PPTX, Google Slides, and Keynote formats, and included the SVG sources for editing. No manual resizing or positioning.
Do I have to credit someone?
CC0 means no attribution required. Crediting Maria Letta is a nice gesture but not required.
Why would I pay for free characters?
The characters are free. The time you'd spend resizing, compositing scenes, and building slide templates is not. Three sizes per character, pre-composed DevOps scenes, and native slide format templates save an hour or two of production work before every talk.
Can I edit the SVGs?
Yes. The SVG sources let you recolor, combine characters, or add your own elements in any vector editor.
